Clivia miniata 'Prince of Orange'
Clivia miniata 'Prince of Orange'
Our Price: 76.95

Clivia is indigenous to South Africa where they grow wild in forested woodland areas. Clivias are undeniably aristocrats of horticulture. They are classed among the most desirable of all connoisseur plants, offering not only spectacular flowers, but also interesting variation in both leaf variegation and form. The flowers are carried in clusters on stout stems and range in color from rich oranges to shades of deep red. The leaves are strap shaped, fleshy, and even when not in flower, the foliage provides excellent dark green cover. Clivia will burn in full sun so it is important to find a spot with dappled shade from at least midday on. Clivia have average water needs; it is important to not overwater. Clivia is a very suitable houseplant.
